Beautiful handmade (yes here in Australia) baby soft block toy. Although I live in Australia i am from New Zealand – so this design and the birds only design just had to be done! Its very special to me and features some of my favourite animals.
Fabrics printed in Australia onto a thick and durable organic cotton canvas fabric. Features a rattle inside and scattered fabric tags which have a couple of links attached.
Babies will love the size of it (see images for the toy (the Aussie version) for context) and will shake it and gaze at the pictures and play with the links attached – these links can be used to attach the toy to a pram, high chair, activity gym, car seat… Better than cheap, chain store baby toys we also offer it filled with organic cotton to make a 100% cotton toy – standard filling is polyester and made from recycled plastic bottles by an Australian company. Please note that our organic cotton filling is quite dense compared to polyester and is not as ‘springy’ and soft – the rattle sound will be quite muffled compared to the standard polyester.
Pictures on the soft block include hectors Dolphin, Tuatara, Kiwi, Tui, Kakapo and the NZ Fur Seal and have been hand drawn exclusively for Finch & Folk by Rebel Challenger. We also have a similar toy that only features birds – NZ has such an array of amazing birds I wanted this option as well.
Toy measures approximately 10cm in diameter (nearly 4? inches).
This locally designed and made toy has been independently safety tested and passed the Australian mandatory safety standards AUS/NZS 8124:1,2 & 3. Includes the two different attached links.
OUR SOFT BLOCKS ARE HANDMADE TO ORDER AS THAT ALLOWS FOR THE SELECTION OF PREFERRED FILLING.
