Do your kids have enough healthy fats in their diet?

Healthy fats—especially docosahexaenoic acid, or DHA—are crucial for cognitive development in infants and toddlers.

By Increasing DHA may improve toddlers’ development and respiratory health
The Recommended estimate for toddlers is to eat at least 700 milligrams of omega-3 fatty acids, which include DHA, EPA and ALA, each day.
And by Offering your toddler a variety of good fats can help optimize their brain development and is also essential for the absorption of fat soluble nutrients in your kids diet.

Ok lecture over… so how do we do this?

Here are my fav sources of healthy fats
Avocados
Coconut oil
Flaxseed
Nuts & seeds
Nut butters
Nut milks
And then, fish & cod liver oil
All of these are relatively easy to get into your kids thanks to smoothies & bliss balls, you can literally throw them all in!
